How to sleep in a good position to stop snoring and sleep comfortably
Snoring is a universal problem for many people. Most people are still looking for a health pillow to stop snoring. Mr. Big would like to tell you that it's not true. Let's try to understand snoring first.
Snoring is caused by the relaxation of the muscles in the throat or throat wall, inflammation of the airways or obesity, which cause our upper airway to narrow. When air passes in and out through the narrowed windpipe, it produces a snoring sound. Or in some people, there may be a fluttering of the soft palate, resulting in different snoring sounds.
The main factors that cause snoring are:
- I have a cold and a stuffy nose.
- As we age, our uvula becomes looser.
- Being overweight results in more fat around the neck.
- Jaw drop or abnormalities of the jawbone and teeth
There is no health pillow that can completely cure snoring, but proper sleeping position can help reduce snoring while sleeping, not disturb others, and reduce the risk of sleep apnea.
So what kind of sleeping position can help reduce snoring?
- Side sleeping or semi-prone sleeping should use the New BodyScale pillow together with the Body pillow or together with the Nine Pillow or Jay Pillow to help support side sleeping better. Select from the body, weight and height of the sleeper with the BestFIT program.
Side sleeping position
- When sleeping, you should use a Gerd pillow and a Leg pillow together, which will help you sleep at the right angle and avoid back pain.
Sleeping position
Sleeping on a pillow that fits your body, with the pillow’s height and angle appropriate to your body, and arranging your sleeping position correctly will prevent your organs, such as the uvula, jaw, or throat wall, from narrowing your airway. However, this can only be used in cases where you have low to moderate snoring. However, if you have severe sleep apnea, you should see a doctor to find further treatment.
